Requirements:

CGPA

2.50 / 4.00

GRE

MA: minimum verbal and quantitative total of 950. and 3,5 in analytical writing Ph.D: minimum verbal and quantitative total of 1100 and 4,0 in analytical writing

ALES

MA programs: 60 (verbal) Ph.D: 60 ( equally-weighted)

ALES is required for resident Turkish citizens who are applying for the MA programs. Turkish citizens who are residents of foreign countries and those applicants who are not Turkish citizens may provide GRE scores instead of ALES. Applicants for PhD programs may provide either ALES or GRE scores. ALES scores are valid for 3 years. GRE scores are valid for 5 years.

English Proficiency (Period of validity: TOEFL 2 years TWE 2 years, IELTS 2 years, KPDS 5 years, ÜDS valid for life)

MA in CITE (except English teacher education track):TOEFL (iBT) 65 or IELTS (academic module) 5.5 or KPDS (70) or ÜDS (70) or FCE C Other Programs (including CITE-English teacher education):TOEFL (iBT) 82 or IELTS (academic module) 6.5 with minimum 5 in each section, or KPDS (87) or ÜDS (87) or FCE C

Proof of Degree

Yes (if already obtained) MA in CITE: Only Biology, English, Mathematics and Turkish Lang & Lit graduates can apply. See Program Information for details
