BIOGRAPHY:
Mrs. Uygur was born in 1956 in Erzincan. She graduated from İstanbul Üsküdar Girls’ High School in 1974. She received his bachelor’s degree from METU Faculty of Architecture in 1980 and her master’s degree from the same university in 1984. Since 1983, she has been conducting architectural design and project works. In 1986 he co-founded Uygur Mimarlık with Özcan Uygur. In 1995-1996, she worked as a part time instructor in Eskişehir Osmangazi University, 2001-2002 and 2005-2006 ODTÜ as a part-time instructor. She has won thirty-eight awards and honorable mention in more than seventy architectural competitions. She worked as a jury member in national architectural projects. TED Ankara College received the branch award at the Yumrubel Campus and the 2004 Architecture Awards of the Chamber of Architects. In 2015, she won two first prizes with two projects in different categories within the scope of 2A Asian Architecture Awards.In 2016, Güngören Tozkoparan Secondary School won the THBB Architecture Award.
