Exhibition: “Minority Spaces,” Department of Architecture, FADA Exhibition Hall, December 28-January 3

Exhibition: MINORITY SPACES

Time: 28 December 2017 – 3 January 2018
Space: FADA Exhibition Hall
Opening: 28 December 2017, 13:00

You are kindly invited to the exhibition “Minority Spaces” held by the students of Department of Architecture.

The exhibition displays 78 ‘manifesto posters’ designed by the students of ARCH 321 Architecture and Society course depending on their socio-spatial research where “minorities” are handled as either people or spaces. The explored cases vary from social groups that are conventionally considered as minorities to groups of people that are handled as minorities, from specific building types to abstract approaches to spaces. A selection of the course outcomes such as art works can also be viewed along with the video entitled “Who is the Architect?” created by the students to reveal the perception of “the architect” among the public.
