MATH Seminar: “Current Status of the Sendov Conjecture,” Alexander Goncharov, SA-Z18, 2PM September 30 (EN)

Dear Colleagues and Students,

You are cordially invited to the Analysis Seminar organized by the Department of Mathematics.

Speaker: Alexander Goncharov (Bilkent)

“Current status of the Sendov conjecture”

Abstract: The Sendov conjecture asserts that if all zeros of a complex polynomial P lie in the closed unit disc, then for each zero z there exists at least one critical point of P within unit distance of z. We discuss the current status of the problem.
The talk is available for undergraduate students.
