“Quasicategories”
Abstract: In this talk we will introduce the first model of infinity categories, namely quasicategories. We will discuss the construction of a nerve of a category and thus embedding of the category of (small) categories in sSet. We will also see how a topological space gives rise to a quasicategory – i.e., via the fundamental infinity-groupoid construction.
