The play is set in the lobby of a crumbling hotel so rundown it has even lost the “e” from its marquee. Once a symbol of elegance, the hotel now serves as a silent witness to lives unfolding and dreams left behind. The residents, each with their own ages and backgrounds, gather in the lobby, engaging in conversations and interacting with one another.
The looming threat of the hotel’s demolition forces everyone to confront their own struggles with loneliness, disappointment, and hope. Some are lost in the shadows of their past, while others cling to the uncertainty of the future. Through their exchanges—sometimes calm, sometimes tense—the depth of human connections and the fight to endure are revealed beneath seemingly ordinary moments.
