“Overview of “Fusion systems on small p-groups” by Craven and Glessar”
Abstract: In this talk we shall prove the following facts in detail: Let P be a metacyclic p-group and F be a saturated fusion system on P. Then P is normal in F if p is odd. In the case that p is even, F is trivial unless P is homocyclic abelian, dihedral, semidihedral or generalized quaternion.
We also discuss some preliminary facts that are needed in these proofs.
