Speaker: Ph.D. Candidate Matthieu Joseph Pedergnana

Bio: Matthieu is an architect who graduated from the department of sustainable construction in Lyon in 2010. After several years of voluntary on-site work on ecological building, he is now finishing a Ph.D. in METU, as well as teaching construction material at Yaşar University and advising architects on the usage of natural building techniques. He has led several workshops and taught in hands-on courses to raise awareness about the advantages of natural materials and designed and built several experimental buildings and permanent houses using these materials in Turkey.
