Bilkent Theatre Department invites you to our launch of BILT, Bilkent International Laboratory Theatre.
BILT’s mission is to premiere new plays in Turkey with a primary emphasis on development and premieres of contemporary Turkish Playwrights. These productions aim to reach diverse audiences in the Bilkent community, Ankara, nationwide and the international community at large through performance, tours, online media and publication. BILT is a professional ensemble comprised of Bilkent Theatre Department graduates, who also teach in the Bilkent Theatre for Kids Program, faculty members and will invite international guest artists from around the globe.
The launch production is a new black comedy play “77. ŞUBE” written and directed by Barkin Kenan (’17 grad).
