Title: An intro to Entrepreneurship
Bio: Dr. Oran received his BSc degree in Economics from Middle East Technical University (1992) and his MSc (1997) and Phd (1999) in Finance from Texas Tech University. He has been a faculty member at the Dept. Of Business Administration at METU since 1999 where he has taught a wide array of courses including must and elective courses in finance, financial accounting, entreprepreneurship, investment valuation, and fundamentals of business.
Dr. Oran was the director of the GIMER Entrepreneurship Center at METU between 2012-2021. He spends a significant portion of his time contributing to the Entrepreneurship Ecosystem at METU, Ankara and Turkey! He has taken part in the entrepreneurship related projects of numerous local, national and international entities as a teacher, mentor and leader. He greatly enjoys teaching, research, consulting and mentoring.
