Tuition Fee

Tuition fee for the 2022 – 2023 academic year:
– For students admitted before 2016 is 13.950 USD
– For students admitted between 2016 and 2021 is 14.500 USD
– For students admitted in 2022 is 14.700 USD

Students, who are admitted through the Higher Education Council’s Regulation for Admission from Abroad can pay their tuition fees in Turkish Lira (TL) instead of USD if they prefer. In this case, the effective selling rate of the Central Bank of the Turkish Republic is taken as a basis to calculate the TL amount.

Students, who will send their tuition fees from abroad can make a wire transfer to the bank account of Garanti Bank provided below. During the process, the student’s name and surname must be stated and the document showing that the wire transfer has been made, must be sent to the Registrar’s Office.

In line with the Higher Education Council’s Regulation for Admission from Abroad, students who are eligible to register at Bilkent University and had acquired Turkish citizenship at birth but later renounced their citizenship status with the approval of Ministry of Internal Affairs, are required to pay the tuition fee for the students admitted from abroad even if they have the legal document which grants their previously acquired citizenship rights as stated in the citizenship law. Turkish nationals, who complete their secondary education in a foreign country are also required to pay the tuition fee of the students admitted from abroad.

Students admitted to Bilkent University through transfer application, are also required to pay the tuition fee of the students admitted from abroad, if they have not registered to their previous institution through central placement.

Tuition Fees include 8% VAT.
