Author Bios:
Dr. Heather Ba is an Assistant Professor in the Truman School of International and Public Affairs at the University of Missouri. She received her PhD from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in 2017. Her research spans a variety of topics in the fields of international political economy and US foreign policy and has been published in outlets including the European Journal of International Relations and Business and Politics.

Ömer Faruk Şen is a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science at the University of Missouri. His research interests span the fields of international relations, comparative politics, and international political economy. His dissertation focuses on the American dollar hegemony.
