Abstract: Displacement Spectrum Imaging (DiSpect) is a new method for probing complex tissue dynamics such as blood flow, diffusion and perfusion. Our approach is based on stimulated echoes and Fourier encoding of displacement and can enable the observation of spin dynamics over short (milliseconds) to long (seconds) evolution times. We demonstrate the applications of DiSpect to perform arterial perfusion imaging and to measure post perfusion venous flow imaging in vivo.
