Dr. Emin Karagözoğlu (Department of Economics) is co-organizing the 3rd Bargaining: Experiments, Empirics, and Theory (BEET) Workshop with Leif Helland at BI-Norwegian Business School (Oslo, Norway) on 28-29 June, 2019. The workshop will gather prominent scholars working on bargaining from all across the world, among which the plenary speakers Hülya Eraslan (Rice University) and Guillaume Frechette (New York University). Dr. Karagözoğlu initiated this workshop series at Bilkent University back in 2016, with the aim of bringing together researchers who use different research methods to study bargaining and creating an environment that promotes interactions between them. In 2018, he co-organized the second workshop with Matthew Backus at Columbia University (New York, USA). Even at this relatively early stage, the workshop has become the “must attend” event for bargaining scholars. This year, it will host 24 presentations in total, in two plenary, eight regular, and two poster sessions.
