A project developed at Bilkent Cyberpark took first place in this year’s Inspiring Solution Competition, conducted by the International Association of Science Parks (IASP).
The project, called “B2B Matching Methodology,” is a business development program that facilitates the creation of international partnerships. It was selected as the most inspiring solution of 2017 as a result of voting by nearly 400 IASP members from 76 countries.
Bilkent Cyperpark General Manager Faruk İnaltekin received the prize from IASP General Director Luis Sanz at the IASP World Conference. Speaking at the award ceremony, which took place during the conference’s gala night, Mr. İnaltekin said, “We are proud of bringing this prize to our country. This award is a demonstration of the value created by Turkish technoparks in the international arena as well as a response to our work.”
IASP, described as “the world’s largest network connecting science, technology and research parks,” is headquartered in Spain. The congress, which over the last 34 years has been held annually in cities across the globe, was hosted in İstanbul by a consortium of Teknopark İstanbul, ODTÜ Teknokent and İTU ARI Technopark.
