The Quacquarelli Symonds World University rankings report for 2015-16, released on September 15, lists Bilkent University among the top 400 universities in the world.
Bilkent, which ranks 394th (up from 399th last year), is the only Turkish university to make the top 400 in the QS global rankings. Four other Turkish universities join Bilkent in the top 500: METU (in the group ranked 431-440), Boğaziçi University and Sabancı University (441-450) and Koç University (481-490).
Overall, this year’s QS report ranks the Massachusetts Institute of Technology first, Harvard University second, the University of Cambridge third, Stanford University fourth and the California Institute of Technology fifth.
