TÜBİTAK also announced the 2020 version of its Entrepreneurial and Innovative Universities Index. The index lists the country’s top 50 universities on the basis of their performance in the areas of entrepreneurship and innovation.
In this year’s index, Bilkent University was ranked second, along with İstanbul Technical University, with 74.9 points.
The aim of the index is to promote entrepreneurship and innovation at universities.
The methodology for compiling the rankings is based on the following categories: scientific and technological research competence; intellectual property; cooperation and interaction; and economic contribution and commercialization.
