Two Bilkent Faculty members are funded by Horizon 2020 Marie Curie program.
Dr. Kemal Çelebi from UNAM (National Nanotechnology Research Center) and Dr. Onur Tokel from UFOLAB (Ultrafast Optics and Lasers Laboratory) has been successfully awarded a MSCA IF 2014 fellowship grant from the European Commission.
Dr. Çelebi’s “Graphene Membranes” project is related with the new generation of industrial membranes and Dr. Tokel’s “SMILE” project is related with 3D Silicon Micromachining with Infrared ultrafast Lasers. In this charming program, only 10 researchers from Turkey deserve funding.

Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions
The Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions ensure excellent and innovative research training as well as attractive career and knowledge-exchange opportunities through cross-border and cross-sector mobility of researchers, to better prepare them for current and future societal challenges and to raise the attractiveness of research centers in Europe and Turkey. In the scope of MSCA fellowship grants, researchers move from one country to another to broaden or deepen their competences.
